Walking or hiking? The number of routes is almost infinite. Among numerous others places to go, we recommend the Bletterbach canyon near Aldein and the Leuchtenburg ruins.
All routes offer rewarding panoramic views and make for a fun day out. Get leaflets and more tips from our information corner.

Cycling? A short off-road track will lead you to a 60 km bicycle route along river Etsch that connects the province’s two main cities, Bozen and Trento. On south Tyrol’s well-kept local network of bicycle routes you can also reach many other places, such as Kaltern or Meran, the former being famous for its lake and wines and the latter for its spa and balmy climate. Take advantage of our free bike rental service.

What are your plans for today?

Swimming? Lake Kaltern, the largest and warmest of South Tyrolean lakes, and the romantic little Montiggl lakes are both within easy reach. A 20 minute drive will take you there.

Shopping? Go for a walk through medieval alleyways, visit the Ötzi archaeological museum or Runkelstein castle – Bozen holds something for everyone. Getting there by train will take you less than 10 minutes from Hirschenhof.
